(Video) Don't Make My Mistake: It's Not All About Choosing Better People on the Path to Secure Relationships

Hello! I haven’t posted in a little while. I took an impromptu break and by that I mean, life got on top of me and I had to step away to refresh myself.

Thankfully, I’ve kept myself busy in the meantime and have posted and new YouTube video and have some new blog posts on the way and should be back to frequent posting this week.

In today’s video, I wanted to talk about a mistake I made when stepping out of unavailable dynamics and into what I thought would be more “secure” ones.

I used to think just choosing better partners would solve my relationship issues until I realised that having someone willing to be emotionally available meant I then had to also be emotionally available to accept their love (and return it).

Funny how that works, right?

If you’re like me, you might be thinking that all you need to do is “choose better”. Whilst that is an important part on the path to healthier relationships, it’s only part of it.

It’s good to be aware of this, as I’ll discuss in the video!
